I have spent many months planning the details of this adventure and ensuring that your bucket list experience is top tier. Because of the high altitude of Cusco (11,152 ft), I have planned this trip with comfort and luxury top of mind.

Why Travel With Me?

Having visited Peru in 2024, I bring personal experience to this detailed itinerary. I also hosted a group trip earlier this year, and here are a few things my travelers had to share after the trip:

  • “I was impressed by the level and quality of the trip. The program was well balanced between culture, fun, shopping, and sightseeing, and perfectly executed!”
  • “It was perfect. All the activities were engaging in different ways. Each day felt like a fresh new adventure!”
  • “Amazing! The team went above and beyond!”
  • “For anyone who is afraid of going on a group trip like this, don’t be. This experience is so much more immersive and the fact that it’s so customized by someone who has been there multiple times and also a local is unbeatable.”

Prepare your trip to Peru: Important details to know

Here’s a little guide to ensure your trip is smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. Please read carefully before booking!

Flights

You are responsible for arranging your own flights to and from Cusco, as airfare is not included in the package.

  • Arrival and Departure:
    • Alejandro Velasco Astete Intl. Airport (CUZ)

To find the best flight deals, I recommend using Skyscanner.

Payment Details

Once your spot is confirmed, I will send you an email with the next steps outlined.

Payment schedule:

  • Non-refundable deposit:
    • $500 due within 3 business days of confirmation to secure your spot. If not paid, your place will be offered to another participant.
  • Final payment:
    • $3,350 (early bird: $3,150) is due by October 1st.
  • You can pay the total amount upfront if preferred. If an alternative payment schedule is preferred, I am happy to speak with you individually about other options.

Refund Policy

  • The $500 deposit is non-refundable due to hotel policies in Peru, which also have non-refundable deposits. However, if your spot is replaced, you will receive a refund.
  • If the first payment is not completed within one month of the deposit – despite prior reminders – your spot will be released and offered to another participant. This is to ensure that we are able to fill all of our spots and everyone is given equal opportunity to join the trip.
  • Cancellations made up to 2 months before the trip (by September 1st, 2025) are eligible for a refund of payments made, excluding the deposit.
  • Cancellations after October 1st, 2025 are non-refundable.
  • Please note: That cloud coverage and rain is common in the Andes Mountains. In the event that bad weather forces a cancellation of an activity, a refund of the expense may not be possible.

This policy ensures smooth management of costs and logistics, as the trip is planned based on a fixed number of participants.

Arrivals & extra accommodation

If you’d like to arrive earlier or extend your stay in Cusco, I’m happy to assist with accommodation arrangements for an additional fee. Any additional nights in Cusco will be at your own expense.
